A-Energy Group has its own power generation with total capacity of 970 MW. Our power units are located in many countries. Main assets and the regions of power grids, power supply companies and energy service companies’ activities are usually connected with the generation facilities and main production sites of the Group.

Energy sector includes all aspects of energy business from power generation to its transportation and delivery to the grid. Energy sector also includes electric and heat power production companies.

Energy sector provides reliable power supply to own infrastructure (power generation units in «Geological survey and production» segment), and to outside-customers. For this purpose the development of the power sector goes in the following areas:

development of commercial generation (mostly renovation and modernization);
development of local generation in oil producing areas of the Company;
development of renewable energy.
