A-Energy has completed the drilling of an ultra deep offshore prospecting well

The depth of the sea at the drilling point is 2111 m. The actual depth of the well is 5268 m.
As a result of the works, a unique carbonate structure with the capacity of more than 300 meters has been discovered – a fractured reservoir with high possibility of hydrocarbons contain. The obtained results inspire confidence in the discovery of large oil and gas deposits in the offshore zone. The company plans to conduct a thorough geological processing of the received materials and to continue exploration in the license areas.
As part of the drilling preparation, the company made 2D and 3D seismic surveys and completed integrated engineering and geological studies.
