A-Energy successfully continued acid fracturing with propant

From January to March 2018, there were 24 operations performed on 14 wells of the fields.
The average increase per one well reached 11.9 tons per day; the total increase was 163 tons per day. The highest performance among all other types of geological and technological measures was successfully achieved (GTM).
Several operations were carried out on a two-packer technological layout. It helped to significantly reduce the volume of preparatory works for well capital repair, reduce costs for geophysical exploration of wells and fracturing. Also, an optimal amount of chemistry and propant for design planning was determined together with the specialists of the research center.
Thus, the company could specify the priority intervals for subsequent treatments and minimize the risks of breakthrough fractures into confined aquifer. Geophysical studies (long-spaced acoustic) were made at two wells of the deposit. The information obtained during the research is necessary for further selection of well candidates for hydraulic fracturing and well design.
