The integrated Safety and Environmental Management System of A-Energy meets standard international requirements

The company has passed a recertification audit of the integrated management system for compliance with the requirements of international standards ISO 14001:2015 (environmental management) and OHSAS 18001:2007 (occupational health and safety management).

The auditors of the international company checked the departments of oil and gas production and processing, energy, reservoir pressure maintenance, field development, industrial safety, labor and environmental protection, and others.

The head of the certification and business intensification department of the audit company stated: “The purpose of the audit was to check the compliance of the company management system with the standard international requirements in the field of labor and environmental protection. We note that the management system at the Group’s enterprises is of a high quality, with a high level of the staff discipline. The objective of any effective management system is to work on prevention and approach issues based on risk assessment. At the same time, the assessment of production risks and the system performance evaluation should consider the nature of the company’s activities and the requirements of the parties involved”.

Chief engineer of A-Energy said: “The Company pays special attention to the issues of health and environmental protection. Certification under international standards stimulates continuous development and helps the company to achieve its goals”.

Industrial and environmental safety has always been and remains one of the priority activities for A-Energy. Every year the working conditions of employees are improved, new technologies and procedures are introduced to preserve the environment and reduce the risk of injuries, accidents and fires.
