Algeria increased gas import to Italy in 2.6 times

Changes of gas import volumes through the terminals of Italy – 2016 compared to 2015 Tarvisio – minus 6% (Russian gas), Gela – minus 32% (Libyan gas), Mazara – plus 161% (Algerian gas), Passo Gries – minus 37% (gas from Holland, Norway and Northern Eorupe), total import – plus 7% (including LNG). Import of Algerian gas grew from 7.2 till 18.9 billion m3 (in terms of standard GCV 10,57275 kWh/Sm3). Import through Tarvisio fell from 29.9 till 28.2 billion m3.
