CNPC increases oil and natural gas production at Tagrinskoye field to record level

The level of production at the Tarim oil field, managed by the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), the leading oil and gas company in China, amounted to 6.6 million tons of oil in 2022, which is a record, China Media Group (CMG) reported with reference to CNPC.

The Tarem oil field, located in the Tarim Basin, is a large oil-bearing basin in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in northwestern China.
