Eni to launch second floating LNG terminal in Congo

Eni plans to launch a floating LNG terminal with a capacity of 2.4 MTY in Congo.
Italian Eni plans to launch a second floating natural gas liquefaction plant with a production capacity of 2.4 MTY, which will increase the production of LNG at Marine XII project to 3 million tons per year by 2025, the company said.
It is specified that the preliminary work on the project has already started: long-term components have been ordered, and on December 20, steel was cut for cryogenic tanks.
