Georgia decreases import of oil products from Azerbaijan in February

Tbilisi, 13 March – Neftegaz.RU. According to the report of the Azeri Apa on March 12, 2018, in February Azerbaijan exported 8,900 tonnes of gasoline adn diesel to Georgia, down 500 tonnes from January.

In February 11.9% of Georgia’s import of oil products fell to share of Azerbaijan.

Georgia imported 74,700 tonnes of gasoline and diesel in total in February, up 3,600 tonnes in comparison to January 2018. Of this, 40,600 tonnes were gasoline, 34,100 tonnes – diesel.

At the same time, Georgia imported 26,500 tonnes of oil products from Russia, 17,300 tonnes from Romania, 13,900 tonnes from Turkmenistan, 5,200 tonnes from Bulgaria and 2,900 tonnes from Greece.

In 2017 Azerbaijan was Georgia’s main gas supplier with a share of 77.9% of the total volume of gas imports of the country.
