India has invited other countries to invest in its oil and gas fields

According to the Minister of Oil and Gas Hardeep Singh Puri, the world’s largest companies Chevron Corp, Exxon Mobil and Total Energies are interested in investments in exploration and production of Indian oil and gas.
India invites other countries to jointly develop and invest in its oil and gas fields. This was announced on Friday by Minister of Oil and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri, speaking during the online summit “Voice of the Global South”.
“India is ready to explore opportunities for mutually beneficial development of oil and gas assets, as well as to invest in exploration and production domestically,” he said.
According to Singh Puri, by 2025 India intends to double the area of oil and gas exploration up to 500 thousand sq. km.
