QatarEnergy has signed a 27-year purchase and sale agreement (SPA) with China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec) for the supply of 4 million tons of LNG per year to the People’s Republic of China.

In accordance with the terms of the Agreement, the contracted volumes of LNG will be supplied from the North Filed East (NFE) LNG expansion project of QatarEnergy and will be delivered to Sinopec receiving terminals in China.
