The company held a research to practice conference
The conference was devoted to “Fundamentals of Oil and Gas Business”.
Sixty-six projects were presented in six sections: drilling, geology and development of oil and gas fields, technology for oil and gas production, oil gathering, transportation and preparation, labor and environmental protection, economics and information technologies.
The scientific forum was held at the Oil and Gas Institute of the Oil and Gas University. The jury consisted of the Institute’s teachers and top managers of A-Energy. They considered the topic relevance, the degree of addressing the issue, the practical significance and logic of the presentation.
President of the jury in the section “Geology and development of oil and gas fields” noted that this year the participants pleasantly impressed with their research and inventions.
So, a special A-Energy class student presented a software product, which predicts oil production parameters based on reservoir characteristics. “Studying in A-Energy class makes life interesting and eventful, – he notes. – It’s great to have extracurricular activities. We go to the fields, learn a lot about oil industry. Participation in the conference is one of the most important events for us”.
