Turkey is ready to cooperate with Iran in petrochemical industries

01 June 2016

Turkey is willing to cooperate with Iran, namely with its province of Kermanshah, in petrochemical industries, Deputy Head of the Turkish Chamber of Commerce Cuneyt Golet said Wednesday.
Golet announced that the volume of trade between the two countries could reach $30 billion within a short period, the Iranian Iran news agency reported. He noted that the relations between the two countries were made easier following the lifting of sanctions against Iran.

In July 2015, the P5+1 countries of China, Great Britain, France, Russia, the United States, and Germany reached an agreement with Iran guaranteeing its compliance to a peaceful nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief.
